Meet Our Management Team

Dan R. Moore, CEO

Dan launched Moore Freight Service, Inc. (MFS) in 2001. His extraordinary vision and corporate strategy coupled with his operational strengths continue to lead MFS in its phenomenal success. Prior to establishing MFS, Dan’s career spanned 25 years of leadership in specialized hauling divisions of major freight companies. Dan held top positions in Maintenance and Human Resources, ultimately earning him the position of Terminal Manager in charge of day-to-day operations which included critical Safety and Training functions. His knowledge base, experience, and most important of all, his relationships and reputation in the industry are the foundation of MFS.

Randy Moore, President

Randy brings 30 years of industry experience to his current position. His impressive career path began in the shop and progressed to several professional positions, including regional planner and vice president of operations, as well as fleet service owner. Randy’s working knowledge of various types of equipment and expansive breadth of experience ensure his ability to handle any issues that MFS clients might encounter. His focus is on growing the presence of MFS in the US and continuing to set the standard for service within the industry.

Grant Mize, COO

Grant joined MFS in 2007 as director of operations. Prior to joining MFS, Grant had a successful 31-year career in the glass divisions of three major freight companies where he developed a comprehensive knowledge of the flat glass industry. His wide-ranging experience includes equipment building, equipment management, and operations oversight. Respected for his knowledge and integrity by our customer base and drivers alike, Grant is charged with streamlining MFS operations and integrating changes that will facilitate our continued rapid growth.

Julie Reasonover, CFO

Julie joined Moore Freight Service, Inc. in 2004 after receiving her degree in finance from the University of Tennessee. Her initial responsibilities at MFS included handling payroll and accounts receivable. Throughout her years with MFS, Julie has proven to handle any task with promptness and efficiency, earning her the title of the Vice President of Accounting. Some of Julie’s responsibilities include: accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial processing and budgeting for MFS.
